The other day a wonderful bride Alison. She came in wanting to try on different dresses then what she had imagined. She has heard that the dress you end up falling in love with is one that you would not have thought to try on. Sure enough she fell in love with one of our Mori Lee dresses. It looked splendid on her. It is a white chiffon perfect for an out door wedding, which she is planning on getting married at the Foot Lagoon near our Loveland Library, and then partying it up afterwards at the Garden room. Fun, Fun Fun! Her kindergarten students will be amazed at how well their teacher will look on her special day. Even if she doesn’t come in to purchase this specific dress I was very pleased to of been able to hear the details around her wedding. It was even more of a pleasure to hear that she and I will be sharing August 1st 2009 as the day we both tie the knot. Congratulations, Miss Alison and I wish you the best of luck!!

Amie
Today I got to work with Amie. She came into the store with her mom and grandma in search of her wedding dress. It didn’t take long before Amie found more than one dress that she loved. Amie’s fiancee Brad proposed in Rocky Mountain National Park, and now they well on their way to planning their August wedding. By the end of Amie’s appointment she had narrowed her favorites down to three dresses by three different designers. I look forward to working with Amie again to help her pick out her wedding dress! Good luck Amie!

Danielle
At the beginning of the January I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful bride named Danielle! Danielle had an early morning appointment on a Saturday and brought her sister and a couple of friends in to help her. Little did Danielle know, her mother had showed up before her appointment to surprise her. Danielle watched our slide show and picked many gowns to try on. When a bride doesn’t put a star next to her favorite dress, I usually try to pick one off of their list that best meets the description of what they are looking for. After trying on many gowns, Danielle always went back to the first Mori Lee gown she had tried on. The gown looked absolutely stunning on her, I could tell by the expression on her face that that was her gown. I am happy to announce that Danielle purchased her gown about a week later!!! Best wishes to you Danielle on your special day and thank you for letting me be apart of your gown search!

This past Sunday Jill came in looking for a gown different from all the others she had tried on. After the slide show, she starred one gown in particular and so I brought that one out along with some others so that Jill had a variety. Her favorite one turned out to be the first one she tried on and also happened to be the starred gown that caught her attention. Having a sweetheart neckline, side gather and being a lighter dress than most, this beautiful gown will be perfect for her July wedding in Evergreen! Jill was a blast to work with and made me realize why I enjoy being a bridal consultant. Best wishes to you Jill!

Heather
Today I had the opportunity to work with a bride whose wedding is unique in several ways. Heather came in to the store with her friend Julie to find a wedding gown…possibly a red wedding gown for her New Year’s Eve wedding. Heather and Brian, both actors, met while working on a play 3 years ago and now plan to have a wedding that fits their love of theatre into their vows by having the ceremony in a theatre. Their colors are red with gold accents and the perfect dress for Heather may just be a red wedding gown to go with all the red roses. Brian surprised Heather by taking six months of jewelery making classes to make her engagement ring. Brian and Heather’s wedding sounds very unique and fun, I look forward to working with Heather again.
