Danielle

At the beginning of the January I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful bride named Danielle! Danielle had an early morning appointment on a Saturday and brought her sister and a couple of friends in to help her. Little did Danielle know, her mother had showed up before her appointment to surprise her. Danielle watched our slide show and picked many gowns to try on. When a bride doesn’t put a star next to her favorite dress, I usually try to pick one off of their list that best meets the description of what they are looking for. After trying on many gowns, Danielle always went back to the first Mori Lee gown she had tried on. The gown looked absolutely stunning on her, I could tell by the expression on her face that that was her gown. I am happy to announce that Danielle purchased her gown about a week later!!! Best wishes to you Danielle on your special day and thank you for letting me be apart of your gown search!

Jill L.

This past Sunday Jill came in looking for a gown different from all the others she had tried on.  After the slide show, she starred one gown in particular and so I brought that one out along with some others so that Jill had a variety. Her favorite one turned out to be the first one she tried on and also happened to be the starred gown that caught her attention. Having a sweetheart neckline, side gather and being a lighter dress than most, this beautiful gown will be perfect for her July wedding in Evergreen! Jill was a blast to work with and made me realize why I enjoy being a bridal consultant. Best wishes to you Jill!

Heather

Today I had the opportunity to work with a bride whose wedding is unique in several ways. Heather came in to the store with her friend Julie to find a wedding gown…possibly a red wedding gown for her New Year’s Eve wedding. Heather and Brian, both actors, met while working on a play 3 years ago and now plan to have a wedding that fits their love of theatre into their vows by having the ceremony in a theatre. Their colors are red with gold accents and the perfect dress for Heather may just be a red wedding gown to go with all the red roses. Brian surprised Heather by taking six months of jewelery making classes to make her engagement ring. Brian and Heather’s wedding sounds very unique and fun, I look forward to working with Heather again.

Jessica and Tianna

Jessica and Tianna are good friends that came in together in search of their perfect gowns. We had them set up directly across from each other so that they could see each dress on and also share this experience. Each of them are having outdoor weddings so they were looking for dresses that were a little more lightweight that would be appropriate for warmer weather. After having both of the girls try on a variety of different dresses we were able to narrow it down to the styles that they liked most. Jessica was in search for a gown with a fitted bodice and pick-ups. Tianna was looking for a gown with a beaded bodice with a dropped waist and a more modest skirt. We had so much fun working with them. We wish them the best of luck with their dress hunt. No matter what they choose they will look gorgeous on their wedding days!

Nicole Appelhans

Nicole is a bride that came into our store today to try and find her wedding dress. She was just so much fun to work with. Her mom and aunt joined her to help with the hunt. We found a few dresses that she liked but there was one that stood out among the rest. It is a strapless, beaded bodice, with a corset back. She looked stunning in it. If it ends up being “the one” I think that she would be happy with it. Regardless of the dress she choices she will be a beautiful bride.

Sheena

Last weekend I had the opportunity to help Sheena search for her wedding gown. She came into the store with her mom Cindy, her bridesmaid Kelsey, and her maid of honor Emily. They were in search of the perfect gown for Sheena and Jeff’s outdoor wedding coming up this July, to take place on a family farm in Berthoud. It didn’t take long before we knew Sheena had found “the dress.” The whole look just came together and Sheena’s Stargazer lilies will be the perfect accent to her gown. I had a great time helping Sheena and her family and got to help Sheena and Cindy when they came in for one more try-on. It is always fun to work with a bride more than once and to get the opportunity to get to know more about her and her wedding. Good luck Sheena and Jeff!

Alli

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of working with Bride-to-be, Alli. I could tell she was going to be fun from the moment she walked in the door. She was excited and enthusiastic about her wedding plans which include an outdoor wedding in June of 2009. With Alli’s mom and bridesmaid we tried on dresses until Alli found one that made her sparkle. We had a great time in our search for Alli’s perfect wedding dress and I hope I get to work with her again.
